Manchester United are closing in on a deal for Borussia Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, .

The Gabon international has been in stunning form for the Bundesliga outfit this season, scoring thirty-three goals in thirty-eight appearances in all competitions while he is just one behind former Dortmund star Robert Lewandowski in the race for the German top flight’s Golden Boot.

Arsenal are also interested in securing the services of the twenty-six year old, who moved to Dortmund from Saint-Etienne in the summer of 2013.

Aubameyang began his career with Serie A giants AC Milan but never played for them, gaining his game time in loan spells with Dijon, Lille and Monaco before securing a permanent move away from the San Siro in December 2011.

PSG in line with FFP but remain ´under scrutiny´

Paris Saint-Germain have for now been cleared of breaching UEFA s Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations but the Ligue 1 champions recent transfer dealings will remain under scrutiny.

European football s governing body announced on Wednesday that it had reviewed transfer contracts and analysed management related accounts and deemed these to be in line with FFP regulations.

It added that PSG s break-even result remains within acceptable deviation for the financial years 2015, 2016 and 2017. However, UEFA added that PSG will remain under close scrutiny and will be thoroughly looked at in the coming weeks .

Omnisport understands that PSG will face sanctions if they are unable to raise €60m in income by the end of June.

Sebastian Kehl has relinquished the Borussia Dortmund captaincy and vowed to help his successor as he enters the final season of his career.

The 34-year-old announced in March that he will retire at the end of his contract in June 2015, and he has now decided to step aside as captain to allow Dortmund to begin building for the future.
